Plot Summary
Maharaja, a quiet barber in Chennai, loses his wife in a tragic accident Najeeb Muhammed and Hakim, two Malayali immigrants, arrive in Saudi Arabia seeking better lives, only to be stranded without knowing their employer. Mistakenly taken by a local Arab to herd goats in a remote desert, Najeeb endures harsh conditions and isolation, witnessing a fellow goatherd's death. After years of suffering, he reunites with Hakim and meets Ibrahim Khadiri, a Somalian goatherd with escape plans. They flee during a wedding, but the journey turns deadly, with Hakim dying and Khadiri disappearing. Najeeb, nearly dead, is rescued and taken to a Malayali restaurant, where he recovers. Despite facing imprisonment due to documentation issues, Najeeb eventually finds his way back home.
